to everyone and in particular to those who didnt pass in first go.....dont loose heart put an honest effort and we will do it ,just be motivated.i took step 1 for the first time in feb2004 and got 70/171 ,i was so heart broken that i couldnt imagine myself studying for it again but then i got to know about this forum and started visiting it...read about people taking exams and people passing it ...many like me and i got motivated ...this forum really helped me.people used to put questiones which used to be vey useful.i was a silent watcher and didnt contribute much...actually i had lost all confidence in me and didnt know if at all i could contribute any thing in any way.well i again started to study from july and took my exam on dec28.got my score report a couple of days back and i passed this time with a score of 92/228.....i was so happy and thank ful to Almighty God,i have no words. if this can help any one in any way i will be really happy.i studied from kaplans mostly ,first aid ,goljans audio and 100 pages.tried to understand everything did q book.75%q bank73% kaplans simulated 71%NBME 1- 490,NBME 2- 510,i will be more than happy to answer any questions. good luck to all,may we all be sucessful. shaheen
